Kym Nicholls-Derus
Kym is the owner and manager of Paris Legal, LLC. Kym has over 20 years experience as a litigation Paralegal. She has an Associates of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Arizona State University. Kym has been intricately involved in numerous commercial, contract, personal injury, medical malpractice and patent trials. Kym has managed cases ranging from 25 documents to 100's of thousands of documents.
Over the years, Kym's work has included managing multi-million dollar cases including, creating and maintaining databases. She has prepared disclosure, discovery requests and responses and multiple types of summaries. In addition, Kym has spent considerable time reviewing and analyzing case documents for such things as key documents, relevance, issue coding and privilege. She has prepared for, implemented and managed small to major document productions and is an expert in document management.
